Fleet and fixed asset maintenance management professionals recently gathered at the annual Cetaris Summit, exploring the latest innovations in industry technology while sharing their proven best practices.
This year’s exclusive gathering for Cetaris users took place in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and it was a memorable event for all attendees.
Here’s a round-up of the insights and advice shared by industry leaders at this year’s Cetaris Summit:
Data quality is the key to thriving with AI
The 2025 Cetaris Summit kicked off with opening remarks from CEO Ric Bedard, who set the tone for a packed and productive event. He shared the main goal of the Summit: to connect with industry professionals like you, hear your feedback firsthand, and keep improving Cetaris solutions to better support your fleet and fixed asset operations. Ric spoke to Cetaris’ ongoing commitment to building smarter tools guided by user input.
He also touched on a theme that came up often throughout the Summit: the rising importance of data quality. As more fleets embrace AI and machine learning, clean, accurate data is critical to avoid costly errors and make better decisions. Ric’s message was clear: there is a lot of innovation ahead, and it all starts with strong systems, strong partnerships, and strong data.
XPO’s journey to smarter maintenance management
During his session at the Cetaris Summit, Chris Carter, VP of Maintenance at XPO, shared a firsthand look at the company’s journey to choosing and implementing Cetaris. He walked the audience through the RFP process, including the competitor solutions they evaluated and why Cetaris stood out as the best fit for their business needs. His message to fellow fleet and fixed asset maintenance leaders was clear: “Do not try to recreate the old system; let the new system work as designed to maximize benefits.”
Chris also gave an inside look at XPO’s Cetaris implementation experience and the impact it’s already had. From stronger warranty recovery and improved labor efficiency to enhanced inventory control and PM compliance, the benefits have been felt quickly. The team has also seen gains in asset management, streamlined accounts payable, and faster core maintenance management processing. His presentation offered a valuable roadmap for any organization considering a move to a modern, data-driven maintenance platform.
Keller’s solution for work order efficiency
In her session at the Cetaris Summit, Samantha Cleavenger from Keller Logistics Group shared how the team has optimized work order management through Cetaris Fix. After three years of hands-on use, Keller has seen first-hand how the app’s clean, user-friendly interface helps technicians work more efficiently. Samantha highlighted how core features like intuitive inspections, simple parts uploading, and fast record-keeping have eliminated headaches and improved accuracy across the board.
With Cetaris Fix, Keller’s preventive maintenance inspections are now more consistent, more accountable, and easier to complete. The streamlined parts upload process has improved inventory accuracy, while enhanced record-keeping has reduced the need for corrections. The biggest payoff? Happier technicians, smoother workflows, and a more efficient maintenance operation overall.
How collaboration drives better maintenance management
In a powerful session led by Dante Antonucci, Shop Applications Administrator at Swift Transportation, the focus was on collaboration as a key for a streamlined, automated maintenance future. Dante explored how internal teamwork, better tools, and aligned processes are helping maintenance teams work smarter, not harder. And by working closely with Cetaris, Dante’s team has been able to identify key ways to get more out of Cetaris in the year ahead. In sharing his message the Cetaris Summit, Dante highlighted how all clients can work with Cetaris to impact efficiencies and cost-savings.
This collaboration extends beyond just Swift Transportation’s relationship with Cetaris. Dante also gave attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the role of the Cetaris Steering Committee, where users work together to share best practices and discussion topics that shape future solution enhancements.
Collaboration on display throughout the Cetaris Summit
You didn’t have to look hard to see examples of collaboration during the Cetaris Summit. Even before the conference began, early arrivers participated in Beach Games, working together and enjoying the stunning setting. The Summit’s first morning started with the popular Learning Café, where Cetaris users gathered around tables grouped by topics of interest, gathering ideas, advice, and solutions from product experts.
On the second day, a fantastic client panel shared important strategies and tactics to help attendees take action on many of the Summit’s core themes. And in the afternoon, Cetaris users got a chance to participate in the annual Feature Auction, where attendees debated and prioritized the most pressing feature advancements to impact the industry as a whole.
