The entire industry is pivoting towards more digital formats – whether it’s in the work they do using fleet management software, or how they meet, network and share knowledge. Events are no different. COVID-19 has only increased the demand and necessity for efficiency, automation, metrics, data and privacy, social and environmental responsibility, as well as safety and wellness across the industry. Fleet management professionals with a finger on the pulse will best adapt to new changes and weather the storm of global economic instability brought about as a result of the global pandemic.

Fleet Management Conferences in 2020
Global Fleet Conference
Date: June 3 – July 2020
Global Fleet was designed to be the first networking and cross-media platform for multinationals. Their 8th annual conference has moved to a virtual format. Sessions will provide a provides in-depth knowledge and up to date information on global and regional fleet management.
NAFA Institute and Expo
Date: September 14-17, 2020
This new virtual experience features a live Q&A, an interactive expo floor, and international networking opportunities. Educational sessions are often provided by industry peers and cover the latest tools, tips and trends to stay on top of rapid change.
AFLA NextGen 2020 Virtual Corporate Fleet Conference
Date: October 5-7, 2020
Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) was established to share education, research, technical standards, and alignment in the industry. This year’s conference is going online and will include interactive educational sessions, dynamic keynote speakers, roundtable sessions and creative virtual networking opportunities geared toward enhancing and forging new connections within the corporate fleet industry.
American Trucking Associations (ATA) Management Conference & Exhibition
Date: October 9-23, and 26-28, 2020
Management Conference & Exhibition (MCE) brings together trucking leaders from across the country to highlight economic, regulatory, and business trends focused on driving the success of fleets today and in the future.
MCE aims to provide attendees with the opportunity to participate in policy discussions, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and interactive exhibits.
Fleet Safety Annual Education Conference
Date: October 2, 2020
This one’s for our fellow Canuks! This free, safety conference for members of the Canadian Fleet Safety Council. Content will cover a general meeting, Ontario Trucking Association Update, insurance, legal and industry updates

Fleet Europe Summit 2020
Date: November 17 – 18, 2020
Bringing together fleet and mobility leaders in Europe to gain new information, networking, and knowledge transfer. This conference attracts around 1000+ fleet leaders a year. This conference will tackle talks on remarketing, WLTP and new emissions regulations, questions about outsourcing fleet management, supplier management, and beyond.
Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference
Dates: Multiple events between August – December
The 2020 Sustainable Fleet Technology Virtual Conference has shifted to a 12 webinar sessions on a variety of topics highlighting fleet practices and alternative fuel opportunities with a strong focus on sustainability.Each session – covering current technologies, topics and issues in the fleet industry – will feature several expert speakers from all around the country. Sessions will discuss the latest and greatest opportunities for biofuel, electric, natural gas, and propane fuels and fueling – with a strong focus on data-driven decisions, tools, and technologies.
